WHAT IS DNOW

DNOW is a weekend event where small groups of students meet for studies in discipleship. The studies are led by trained adult leaders with the goal of beginning or strengthening the ongoing process of discipleship in each student’s life.  DNOW features concentrated Bible study emphasizing discipleship, fellowship, recreation, and evangelism.

Below is the cost breakdown for purchasing tickets. Save a little with the early bird special and get your tickets now! Cost increases as DNOW gets closer to time. Pay with Cash, Check, or Venmo.

SERVE AS A LEADER

DNow is an associational youth event that will take place this year at IBC from February 16th through the 18th.  IBC students will meet at designated times throughout the weekend and participate in activities that will be held on our church campus.  Please see the tentative schedule below for specific times and meeting places.

Friday - February 14th

5:00 PM - Registration & Move In

6:00 PM - Dinner

7:00 PM - Meet Your Leaders

8:00 PM - Main Session 1

9:30 PM - Small Group 1

10:30 PM - Late Night

1:00 AM - In Rooms

 

Saturday - February 15th

8:00 AM - Wake Up & Clean Sleeping Space

8:30 AM - Breakfast

9:00 AM - Morning Devotion 

10:00 AM - Main Session 2

11:30 AM - Small Group 2

12:30 PM - Lunch

2:00 PM - Recreation

3:30 PM - Shower/Cleanup 

5:30 PM - Dinner

7:00 PM - Main Session 3

9:00 PM - Small Group 3

10:30 PM - Students Picked Up by Parents

 

Sunday - February 16th 

8:30 AM - Breakfast in Student Center

10:00 AM - Worship Service at Immanuel

11:30 AM - DNow Final Session!

12:30 PM - See ya later!

PACKING GUIDLINES

WHAT TO BRING:

o Bible, notebook and pen

o Toiletries (designated shower time following REC on Saturday evening)

o Enough modest casual clothes for the entire weekend (play clothes, worship clothes, recreation clothes)

o Sleeping bag, twin air mattress, or twin size cot. (we will have a couple of extras but not guaranteed.)

 

WHAT NOT TO BRING:

o TVs or gaming systems

o Tobacco, alcohol or illegal drugs

o Fireworks of any nature

o Weapons of any kind (guns, knives, etc.)

o Any paraphernalia for pranks

o Clothing with questionable or inappropriate slogans, images, etc.

o Clothing that promotes alcohol, tobacco, or inappropriate items

o Anything else that would be a distraction for your group or other churches
